WISE Nepal currently leads two major initiatives designed to address key agricultural challenges in Nepal:

2. WISE Organics Biofertilizer Initiative
Together, these programs support improved fertilizer management, soil restoration, and sustainable agricultural production.
WISE Nepal is implementing the Nutrient Expert® digital decision-support tool to transform fertilizer management practices among smallholder farmers in Nepal. This project enables site-specific, crop-specific, and climate-smart nutrient recommendations, helping farmers increase yields, reduce production costs, and protect soil and environmental health.
WISE Organics is a sustainable fertilizer initiative that converts agricultural waste into high-quality organic fertilizer pellets designed to improve soil health, enhance crop productivity, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. Our approach integrates biochar technology, vermicompost enrichment, and circular agriculture principles to create a next-generation fertilizer for smallholder farmers.
